I talk a lot about real photography. About the importance of remembering life as it is. When I got the message to come and photograph this wonderful family I was instructed to make sure that I “capture the chaos”.
The beautiful chaos of having eight guests in your house: a hungry, tired, happy, and brilliant new life totally dependent. The crying that transfers to peace when you grasp your new daughter against your face. Smiling so big your eyes are closed. Days and nights that feel as if they are set apart in a new realm of time. It’s such a blessings to deliver real, raw photography that shows the overflow of joy that we’ve been given.
